Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I am a Lancashire based photographer displaying a wide variety of images from around the United Kingdom.

My interest in photography began while I was still at school and I turned the cupboard under the stairs into a dark-room so that I could develop my own mono images.

Over the years I have had various cameras. Round about the year 2000 I stopped using film and changed to digital.

Approximately 8 years ago I joined Darwen Camera Club to learn more about the art of photography and to try to improve my technique.

At present I use a Canon 7D and also, when I'm out walking, I use a Canon G11 which is more lightweight to carry around. I feel that both of these cameras give me very satisfactory results.

My hobbies are walking, photography and computers. The photographs I have chosen to display are some of the products of this combination.

I hope you will enjoy browsing through them.

Best wishes,
Jim Horsfield
